ABOUT FELICIA

Felicia (Harris) Dalton was raised in Kenosha, WI and after graduating from Tremper High School she served in the active duty Air Force for 10 years as a Medical Laboratory Technician. After returning to Kenosha she completed her Bachelor’s in Social Work at Carthage College and Master’s in Social Work with a specialty in Mental Health and sup-specialty in Interprofessional Practice with At-Risk Youth at Loyola University of Chicago. After graduation, she was employed at the same place she spent many happy years as a child, the Boys and Girls Club of Kenosha, where she worked with at-risk teenagers. After working for one of the most well-known youth organizations in America for three years she became employed as a school social worker at a local Kenosha elementary school.
While working with teenagers, many of whom would be considered at risk, Felicia found her passion! This very same passion guided her as she founded Succeed Beyond High School Inc., because she experienced first-hand the angst and stress her youth endured as they struggled to figure out what they would do after high school. Felicia has taken her experience with youth, work in the community, her social work background and passion to form a nonprofit that solely focuses on providing teenager support as they prepare to embark on their most important journey.

When Felicia is not empowering youth to be their best, she is spending time with son, Zachariah Dalton. They enjoy traveling, reading funny books and relaxing on the couch or tropical beach.
